Lizard Point is the southern tip of the Lizard Peninsula, located half a mile from Lizard village, Cornwall. It is the most southerly point on the mainland of Great Britain.

The point is a notorious shipping hazard, so it has a lighthouse built close to the point. Below the light house is the YHA Lizard Youth Hostel.

The Spanish Armada was first seen off Lizard Point at 3pm on the 29th of July 1588. It was a huge fleet consisting of 120 ships.
