Roman Army Museum is located close to Hadrian's Wall by the site of Carvoran Roman Fort, Carvoran, Northumberland.

The Roman Army Museum is run and operated by the Vindolanda Trust, who modernised it 2011.

The museum illustrates frontier life on the northern edge of the Roman Empire, displaying genuine Roman artefacts including a rare surviving helmet crest, life-size replicas of weapons and tools, as well as a large time line of Hadrian's Wall.

A large gallery describes daily life in the Roman army as seen through the eyes of a team of eight auxiliary soldiers, complete with a film showing their activities.
